Celesta International - 2018

 

Celesta International is a biennial cultural competition organized by the University of Alliganj and the City Montessori Schools Network in Lucknow, India. Its director is Dr. Jagdish Gandhi, the founder of the City Montessori School Network. About 45 countries are participating in this tournament. It was a very beautiful and very experienced tournament.

I participated in this competition with seven of my school friends and three teachers. We actually got luxury hostels to stay. Received daily luxury food. It was my first flight and it was a great experience.

We played four games there. There we won the first place in the creative dance competition defeating 44 countries. Also, we took third place in the singing competition. There we were able to get medals, awards, certificates. The Indian media also took us to a press conference.

After the match we had a two day tour of India. There we went to see the beautiful areas. We also went to fancy shops to buy things we needed to bring home.

owever, after spending a week in India, we arrived in Sri Lanka amidst a warm welcome at the Bandaranaike International Airport.
